The T-shirt dress is a casual outfit that can be dressed up for casual events or an everyday look. I had fun making this dress, I'm gonna show you how to cut it by cloning your old T-shirt or using your body measurements, and sewing the dress. You can use any of the preferred method.
What you will need is:
3 yards of fabric
Thread
Scissors
Chalk
Tape (if you are measuring)

Method 1
Cloning a T-shirt
Fold the fabric you want to see in two, place your T-shirt folded as well onto the fabric. Using a chalk trace out the pattern leaving about half an inch for seam allowance, for the length trace the line down to your desired length.
Place the first piece you cut which is the front on the fabric and cut the back, make sure there is enough allowance on the sides so you can pass through the dress since it has no zip or buttons. The cut.

Method 2
Using measurements,
you will need measurements of your burst, shoulder, fitting or band, hips, dress length, sleeve length and armhole
To calculate: divide burst, hips, band/fitting by 4and add 3-4inches of seam allowance.
Shoulder, armhole should be divided by 2.
Dress length add 2inches for seam allowance.
Sleeve length 1inch allowance

Mark shoulder +sleeve e.g shoulder8"+ sleeve 8"= 16
Measure armhole (it should start from where the shoulder stops, standard measurement is 7-8)
Mark the burst, band, and hips
Dress length as well then cut
