Body suit pattern -cloning method

I have always wanted to make my own body suit. This tutorial will be centered on how to create a pattern for the body suit using your own clothes,  let's get started

What you need
Lycra fabric 1- 1&1/2 yards
Matching thread
Pattern paper

To cut
Place your perfect fitting T-shirt on paper, fold the down part of the shirt inside, giving you the shape of a crop top, place your panties as well (the one that fits your hips and buttocks well) cut the neck to your choice as well, trace out using dotted lines add half inch allowance for sewing  for the back the bottom part is more covered to fit your  buttocks (except you want otherwise)
Cut it,  place on the main fabric and cut.

To sew
The sewing method for the body suit is the piping method, cut about an inch of very long fabric enough to go round the neck and legs area.
Join the shoulder, the sides.
To pipe place the one inch piece on the right side of the neck of the body suit, sew, once you are done turn the piece to the back (iron the neck if need be) and top stitch.
Do the same for the legs and armholes.
